More than 50 past and present teachers and support staff of Ipswich School met for lunch on Saturday. Some of our guests had left the school only recently whilst for others, working at the school was a very long time ago!
Old Ipswichian Committee Vice Chair and former Prep Head Nicholas Allen, thanked everyone for coming and the Headmaster, Nick Weaver gave guests an update of what has been happening at school, including details of the recent Open Day, 6th Form Open Evening and the Independent Schools' inspection.
Richard Welbourne, Head of Geography and Chairman of the Common Room Committee arranged for current teachers to give tours so former staff could visit their old classrooms and offices.
Nikki Brown, Director of Development said, "The reunion is such a popular event. We have had some lovely email 'thank you's' from those who were there on the day. Thank you to the Old Ipswichian Club for their help in making the lunch possible."
Make sure you go to the photograph gallery for the event to see which staff you recall!
