The 36-hour period from the 29th - 30th June is designed to unite the school community far and wide as we remember and celebrate our connection with Ipswich School as well as raise vital funds to support young people in their education.
We are delighted that The School's first giving day will not only aim to celebrate our special school community, the giving day also aims to support three Ukrainian refugee pupils who will start at the school in September. What they have been through in recent months cannot be underestimated and as a school community we have a very real opportunity to work together to have a positive and lasting impact on the lives of these three individuals who are experiencing a time of great need.
Education has the power to transform lives, it has the power to transform communities and as a member of a unique and thriving school, an education here has the potential to bring stability and hope to these three young people.
We hope that this day will be a great success and it will be a great way to round up the academic year.
If you would like to be an ambassador of the day by sharing key messages through your networks please sign up by visiting https://ipswichschool.givingday.co.uk/
Please follow us on social media to get all of the updates. You will also receive emails over the course of the day to keep you up to date with all the latest news.
We hope you will join in on this special day!
