Over the past month, pupils and staff were asked to take part in the 'Afghan Rucksack Challenge' by packing a rucksack with donations for refugees arriving in the UK due to the current Afghan crisis.

We are so thankful and proud of our Ipswich School community who have managed to collect and deliver nearly 200 rucksacks and bags to the Care4Calais collection point in support of the Afghan Crisis Appeal. What an incredible achievement!

We'd like to thank Mrs Wagland (mum of two OIs) in particular for giving 30 rucksacks. This was a fantastic way to contribute to the appeal.

Well done to all those at School who contributed to the challenge!
