Last weekend, the Class of 1976 gathered in the Sixth Form Forum, which would have been prep School to them, to reminisce 50 years after leaving Ipswich School. Everyone caught up over some hot drinks and cookies, followed by most attendees joining the Fifty Years or More Summer Lunch Event in The Dining Hall.
We headed out for a tour of the School, starting at the Head''s Study, down to Chapel, followed by Great School, which is currently set-up for exams. Then, we headed around the Cricket Pavillion and past the Sports Hall, before heading back for lunch. It was also nice to find out that David Moon (OI 1967-76) and his wife Jane who were in attendance, got married in the School Chapel almost 15 years ago.
Overall, the turnout was great, everyone enjoyed the day, and the sun also decided to make an appearance!
