Esmae MacGregor (OI 2015-22) Knocks It Out of the Park and Wins Women's Young Player of The Year

Esmae MacGregor (OI 2015-22) has bowled over the competition and has been named Essex’s Young Player of the Year, a recognition of not only her talent, but hard work and dedication to the cricket field. Esmae first discovered her passion for cricket while at Ipswich School and has since jumped from success to success, not only representing the women of Essex, but also impressing her coaches and supporters with her skills. Esmae’s talent is a shining example of the determination nurtured at Ipswich School, and we can’t wait to see what she does next, both on and off the field.

“MacGregor had an incredible debut season as the 21-year-old took a total of 40 wickets across 28 fixtures in all competitions. MacGregor claimed six wickets in September as the weather washed away any chances of her taking any more in the last game of the season against The Blaze.” Essex Cricket, ‘2025 Award Winners at the End of Season Gala’.
