On Saturday 5th October the School staff had their annual Common Room Staff Reunion. Some 40 ex-members of staff enjoyed a very special occasion with a chance to catch up with colleagues and have an enjoyable meal and refreshments at the School. It was great to see a very full common room overflowing, very similar to what it used to be like at coffee time during morning break!

The Headmaster Nick Weaver gave a short update highlighting some of the more recent School achievements, including the acquisition of Anglesea Heights for future developments within the School and the recent campaign “Founding Futures”, where more funds are to be created to enable pupils to attend the School, regardless of their personal circumstances. He also went on to celebrate the ongoing academic successes at GCSE and A-level and the high level of sporting achievement in competitions both locally and nationally.

Then I thanked the Headmaster, the catering department and Carrie Baker from the Development Office for their support with this wonderful occasion.
