Losing just two games in the group put us top and into the semi-final. Natasha G with OI Aisha P showed tremendous character and determination to overcome their Shrewsbury opponents in the deciding set, going from 10:10 to 15:10 to secure the win for the side.
North Oxford proved too good but only just, Natasha and Aisha carrying on from where they left off in the semi to win in three games. Everything came down to Elise L and Laura E at third pair. They played their best fives of the day by far but against some much older opponents were always just behind, losing 10-12, 9-12.
Well done and thank you to every member of our team who took part in this fantastic tournament.
