The MCC hosted a tournament in Desert Springs, Spain, that was split across two tours. The first was 12th-16th November and the second from 16th – 20th.
The first tour I was asked to Captain against Italy and Germany. The second Tom Rash (OI 1994-2001) captained against Spain and Austria.
Both Tom and I played cricket for the school 1st XI and for Suffolk together. Tom now plays club cricket at Mildenhall but also played at Copdock & OI’s for a number of years.
