Caroline will be missed by her family and friends.
We are conscious that some people from the time when Caroline was at the School may not be in contact with us and we would ask if you could pass on this information to those that you know.
As is the usual practice, we would like to place an obituary for Caroline in the 2023-24 OI Journal and would be very grateful for any stories or memories you may wish to share which we could put together for the publication. Please address any contributions to me through oldipswichians@ipswich.school
Funeral details to follow.

Caroline's Celebration of Life is on the afternoon of 11th September at the Cannizaro Hotel on Wimbledon Common (Time TBC). Caroline’s brother has consented to the club publicising the event but asks that anyone wishing to attend should contact me so I can pass numbers on to him (please see contact details below).

I am very sorry to have to report the passing of Caroline Gordon on Sunday 5th May 2024 following a short illness.
Caroline was one of the first girls to enter the lower 6th for 'A' levels back in 1975. She was fun, hard working, full of common sense and a great friend to many, including me, I am privileged to say.
She will be greatly missed by her two daughters and brother, as well as all her friends.

I’m very sorry to hear that news. I remember Caroline very fondly…she was one of my best friends at school.
We spent a lot of time together at her house which was accessible from the school grounds beyond the sports pavilion.
