New event for 2026 - Decade Drinks

As part of the OI Cricket event we invite OIs who left in the 1980s to join us for a few drinks and to enjoy the Cricket

Sunday 26th April 2026
10am until 4pm 
(the cricket will start at 11.00am)
The School Field, Ipswich School, 25 Henley Road, Ipswich, IP1 3SG

Arrive any time - you will be given a wrist band for free drinks at the bar.
Please bring your own chairs and rugs.
Burgers, hot dogs and ice creams can be purchased from the Ipswich School catering tent.

Access and Parking
Access will be via the car park gates on Henley Road, (there will be a parking attendant). If the car park is full please park on the surrounding streets

Photography and Video
There will be a photographer present to take those all important photographs. We will use them on social media, on our website, in emails and possibly in printed publications. We may take video footage which will be used as short films on social media. If you don't want your photograph taken or appear on film and shared please advise us when you book.

Disabled Access
If any of your party has a disability that may affect their access to the toilet facilities please advise the organisers prior to the event via email oldipswichians@ipswich.school
